Founded in October 1953, Posts & Telecom Press(PTP)，an affiliate of China Industry and Information Technology Publishing & Media Group, is a large specialized publisher under the charge of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. In December 2018, it was restructured into Posts & Telecom Press Co.,Ltd. PTP has dedicated to the publication of sci-tech, educational, trade books, as well as periodicals, audiovisual & electronic products and digital publishing. PTP takes social benefits as their priority all along, and has achieved the combined development between social benefits and economic benefits.
With 3,000 new titles of books being published and over 6,000 titles of books being reprinted every year, and an annual sales turnover at cover price exceeding RMB 2.4 billion Yuan, PTP is on the top in books retail market of China. PTP publishes 19 magazines, including academic journals, such as Big Data Research, WXD Hands-on Electronics, Philatelye. PTP has rolled out thousands of audiovisual, electronic and on, Mickey Mousline publications every year.
PTP has a young talent team who are high-qualified, professional and good at innovation. Among them, two were awarded the ‘Taofen Publishing Award’, two were selected as cultural masters and youth cultural talents, three enjoyed the special government allowance of the State Council, three were selected as national leading talents in the press and publication industry, nearly 100 of them have the technical title of deputy senior or above.
